Baseball Caps Paired With Dresses? Do It Or Ditch It? Plus See How Nicki Minaj And Kylie Jenner Styled Theirs For The 2022 MET GALA.

The 2022 #METGALA has come and gone, well until next year's, but its fashion remains.

Talk about High-Fashion meets Culture.

As such we have decided to talk about the possible trend of pairing BaseBall caps with dresses; as seen on #NickiMinaj and #KylieJenner on the #METGALA2022 red carpet; and @sarahlanga; that we may see a lot more of soon.

Over here at The Style Hive, we first spotted the unconventional look on @sarahlanga, weeks before the MET; a @rich_mnisi piece paired with a baseball cap for the #RHOL premiere in South Africa; an outfit choice which got a lot of backlash on Twitter precisely.

Now even though hers wasn't/isn't exactly a dress, for the sake of this post, it still kind of fits into the dress category.

Emphasis on "Kind of".

For the MET on the other hand, #Nicki donned a Black #Burberry outfit designed by @riccardotisci17; i.e an accentuating leather jumpsuit cinched by an oversized buckle, feathered waist and bustier; paired with black boots, plus her skin adorned with sequins, finished off with a leather baseball cap, 

While #Kylie wore an #OffWhite Ball-gown which included sheer detailing, a corseted bodice, a gigantic skirt and a baseball cap veil that generated a completely different vibe.

These outfit choices of course have left us now curiously asking if Baseball caps paired with Dresses, will be a #StyleTrend you would do or totally ditch?
