From an early age I’ve been interested and passionate about creativity. So after school of arts I decided to learn fashion and pursue my dream.
I love designing and make women feel more beautiful and confident, that’s my motto. In Nana Ama Atelier you can have a cute little outfit for a date, a bridesmaid dress done or a sophisticated look to go a business meeting.
Being an entrepreneur and doing everything by myself it’s not easy but it’s what I love.
Gender equality to me is the no judgment of what you choose to do with your life regardless of your sex, as long you don’t hurt others. And being fair in salary according to what you do professionally and not according to your gender.
Women that inspire me are so many but I will say some of them are, Serena Williams for her strength and discipline. Viola Davis because she came from nothing to become a star. Lina Iris Victor and Rewa very unique painters, I love the art they do and how beautifully they represent black women and last but not least my Mother, she is a fighter, she is strong, and smart I wish I was more like her...
