"Dress Like A Boy", "Act Like A Lady"

Hey Darlings.

I haven't had the strength at all to even do a drafted post, totally wasn't going to put up the usual Wednesday post, very serious catarrh/cold and all that. But today I feel better.
How are you doing? And I hope you are staying safe and very hygienic, with all that's been going on? God protect us all.

Have you noticed how much of male fashion is incorporated into female fashion these days? It can be termed as "androgynous fashion", which means "something has both male and female characteristics".
So in essence, you can actually "dress like a boy" while still looking every each feminine.
Check out my androgynous look HERE.
It is definitely no longer strictly for the "Tomboys" and is an edgy look that I think you have to be willing to pull off.

@msmanche
If you aren't naturally "androgynous" and would like to rock this trend, but think it is impossible to, why don't you try these?;

Pair your androgynous outfit with heels, or wear trousers that show your ankle, just as Eku Edewor did below;

  • Shoes: For an androgynous look, a pair of brogues or loafers are perfect for this. Luckily they are easy to get and definitely comfortable and easy to wear. Plus can easily be worn to formal/informal events.

  • A Boyfriend jeans can also give you the androgynous look you want. Boyfriend jeans trend is a topic for another day. They are basically jeans/pants that have a masculine cut/look. But this is what one looks like;

  • Menswear accessories such as bows and ties and are additional items that can also complete your androgynous look;

  • Minimal Accessories or basically a statement piece of jewelry.
  • Oversized Anything: "oversized pieces are more easily carried off by tall, boyish frames and slender figures. But that doesn’t mean you can’t make the masculine trend your own: you just need to experiment with which shapes and cuts work best on you". Because "oversized" is carefree, stylish and relaxed, it is one way to also make an androgynous statement.

  • Relaxed Layering: Play with lengths, try layering button shirts,jackets or vests over tshirts/shirts making sure to keep the lines of your outfit clean, so it does not look busy.

  • Attitude: Your attitude determines the "cool vibe" you would emit in this trend.

So what do you think about this trend? Like or NAH? Would you try it?
Please share your thoughts.
