Female Leggings: How Not To Wear Them.

A while back, I did a post on "meggings", male leggings, and its foray into fashion. If you missed it, check Here. So today I'm going to be talking about "how not to wear leggings", this is for the females though, but I guess the guys who decide to wear meggings can also learn a thing or two.

Okay so basically, the reason I am writing on this topic is because of the worrisome ways in which I see ladies wear leggings. Yeah it is most likely a matter of choice, but then at the same time we ought to be conscious of how we look, and what we wear.

So for those of us who do not know what leggings look like;

Leggings come in different shapes and sizes and could be "one size fits all", since they are basically "skin tight" garments, and can also be "stretchy".

The good part about leggings: they can be worn with almost anything and most probably to almost anywhere, and are super comfortable when worn rightly.

Now this brings me to how they should be worn. Well, to be honest, I would rather you wear your leggings with tops that cover the "crotch" area to prevent "camel toes".

See these? NOOOO. Not cool! Well unless you are in the comfort of your own home.

I mean, you do not want people getting distracted and staring at you in uncomfortable ways. Camel toes are a big NO NO, and because leggings are "skin tight" "body hugging", they tend to accentuate every inch and curve on a woman's body, so please wear a top that would moderately cover your bum and crotch area. just like these pictures depict;

It seems like some ladies are lucky enough to be able to wear shorter tops with leggings, without facing the risk of a camel toe occurring. Probably those with "thigh gaps" or those on the "skinnier side"and then also depends on the material/fabric of the leggings

But then, ensure that the material of the leggings is not too light or too tight if at all you are going to want to wear a shorter top.

Also, trust me, no one (well except a pervert, lol) wants to see the colour of your inner wear, neither would you want to commit a fashion blunder as huge as that.

And so this brings me to the closing speech, in all, your "comfort" is key to how you dress and what you wear. So therefore, if wearing a shorter top makes you comfortable, just please ensure you do not commit any of the blunders above, and make sure the material of your leggings is thick enough to not reveal anything, also watch out for those "panty lines"
