Midi skirts in general are skirts that are any length from below the knee to the calf.
The midi skirt length first became known in the 1940's, "a fashion decade known for its elegance and grace" and because fashion "in the future" is often times a "blast from the past", it was reincarnated in 2011, and has been trending since then.

Facts: Midi skirts definitely make a lady look "elegant" and "classy" while drawing attention to a small waist, and can also hide "wide hips" plus showcase a hourglass figure on ladies with "boy-shaped bodies".
They can be paired with virtually almost any kind of top; either tucked in, or cropped, and of course with a pair of lovely shoes, heels or flats, whichever rocks your boat. But keep in mind that "full midi skirts" rocked with flat shoes, might make you look "short".

You must ensure that you balance out the length by choosing one with a high waist or rocking it with a belt to create the a shapely figure.
