In The Spirit Of Valentine.

So I am kind of switching a little bit away from style to talk about something else in this post.

I hear it is Valentine's day today? *grins*. What exactly does this day mean to you though?

Well, according to history, the date/day "February 14" was named after a Christian martyr know as Saint Valentine and is supposedly a day when people get to exchange gifts/tokens as a sign of "Love".

But today, I think the concept of "Valentine's day" has been "basterdized", and it seems only the happily married ones, the cute little children who share gifts among themselves and the very few who actually understand what it means, understand the reason behind this day.

The guys and, well girls too, of my generation,do not understand what love is, it is basically filled with a bunch of selfish people who live by the slogan "I will give only if I get". (Is it just me?).

Love should be shown everyday anyway, appreciate and love one another,whether in beautiful relationships or not, as it the greatest commandment of all.

Moving on, there are so many stuff to get for your loved ones, (no excuses).

If you plan on chilling till Valentine's day, then "save up" (yes girls, we can save, do not wait for your man to buy you something first before you do) unless he is stingy (life is too short to date someone stingy) "shrugs"
