One of the most anticipated Nigerian movies of 2016, recently premiered on Saturday, November 26 2016 and it was definitely a star studded event with attendance from both members of the cast and dignitaries.
The movie is an Elfike Film Collective production meaning it was produced by EbonyLife Films, FilmOne Distribution, Inkblot Productions and Koga Studios.
The Wedding Party, written by Kemi Adetiba and Tosin Otudeko, is the story of Dunni Coker (Adesua Etomi), a 24 year old art gallery owner and only daughter of her parents about to marry the love of her life, IT entrepreneur Dozie (Banky W). The couple took a vow of chastity and is looking forward to a ground-breaking first night together as a married couple.
The story focuses on a young couple’s marriage ceremony and the hurdles which try to take away the joy of the ceremony.
The movie which is set for release nationwide, on December 16, 2016, features some amazing actors and actresses such as Sola Sobowale, Richard Mofe Damijo, Adesua Tomi, Banky W, Ali Baba, Frank Donga, Emma Oh My God and many more.
