As a bespectacled one, the time had come for me to change my glasses frames as I had gotten bored of the ones I donned previously.
So in the past week, a glasses shop received a worthy customer.

Of course, there was a wide range of shapes and styles of glasses to choose from; a wide range that left me at a loss in making a decision.
Do you ever have such indecisive situations when trying to choose the right "shakomended" or recommended spectacles even after you've looked at the mirror a wealthy number of times, and then end up settling for what you don't really fancy?
Seriously.
However, one thing that I'm very sure helped make my decision, is/was a guide about choosing the suitable eye-pieces for our face shapes.
Let's see the type of faces we have and the right glasses that'd go with each shape.
The Round Face
Do you have full cheeks, a wide forehead and round chin?
If yes, it is definitely a round face.
For the best suit, wear frames that lengthen your face and add angles to your curves, like rectangular frames or over-sized wide frames.
If at all you come across round frames, run as far away from it as possible.
This is simply because round frames are the worst choices for round faces.

The Square Face
With a strong jawline, broad forehead and square chin, embrace frames that soften the angular features of your face.
Such are ones with rounded, circular or oval frames.
The Oval Face
Lucky you.
If you have the oval face then there's isn't much worrying to do.
This is because, the oval face accommodates whatever shape or size; from circular to square, cat eyes, aviators, and a lot more.
However, never miss out on the over sized frames, all you need is just to play with colour.

The Heart Face
The heart face is described as one with a broad forehead that extends down to a small chin, with angled cheekbones.
When choosing glasses, you can experiment on different types if you like.
But avoid frames that are too top heavy with decoration and width.
Rectangular, cat-eye, butterfly or round frames suit you best.

...Last words.
Generally, wear frames that have a contrast with your face shapes.
I hope you find the glasses that'd make you look like the rock star or Diva you want to be.
